Place the cover on the spa when not in use. Remember! For spas filled with water but not used for an extended period, remove the cover once a week for 30 minutes. This ensures adequate ventilation for the tub.
The spa cover serves several purposes. Its use primarily reduces operating costs because the spa water can be heated in a shorter period of time, and the energy consumption required to maintain the water temperature is also reduced. Using a cover prevents leaves from falling into the spa, reducing exposure to environmental impacts. If the cover is secured with clips, it prevents children from using the spa without parental supervision.
Its use is also required for warranty purposes. UV radiation can be harmful to the spa shell without water. Damage to the spa shell caused by the sun is not covered by the warranty.
Check the spa water! Water sanitation Disinfectants are differentiated based on the active ingredient. • Wellis Crystal with a bio disinfectant • With chlorine • With bromine
Water hardness – recommended value: 8 – 12 nK This value is determined by the amount of dissolved calcium and magnesium salts and minerals. Hard water contains too much of these dissolved substances, which will lead to scaling. This can cause significant damage to the spa wall, pipes and filter, as well as heating and mechanical units. Water hardness cannot be reduced by chemical treatment and only scaling can be prevented. Soft water can be produced by the water softener with resin tank used for this purpose. Spas should be used with soft water at 8-12 nK. (nK°=German hardness).
pH Value Adjustment – Recommended Value: 7.2 – 7 The first important indicator is the pH value of the water. The pH value is measured on a scale of 0 to 14, where a value of 7 is considered neutral. Below this, the water is acidic; above, alkaline. The pH value of the human eye is approximately 7.5. Above 7.8, the water irritates the eyes of bathers. Experience shows that most problems are caused by a pH value that is too high. Inappropriate values reduce the effect of the disinfectant. The pH value of the water normally increases when the spa is not in use and, therefore, pH reducers should primarily be used. Recommended chemical: pH reduction pH reducing granules (100%) – packaging: 1000g It can be used with any disinfectant; these pH reducing granules are very effective. Dosage: To reduce the water pH by 0.1, add 1 kg of pH reducer granules to 100 m3 of water. It is recommended to add to the water inlet or at several points in the spa. Dissolve in tap water before use (1 kg of pH reducer granules in 10 L of water)
Wellis Crystal Bio Disinfectant This disinfectant kills or neutralizes microorganisms (bacteria, algae, fungi, viruses) present in the water. Microorganisms are small, microscopic life forms that are not visible to the naked eye and are constantly transferred into the water by rain, wind, or bathers. If not destroyed, they will be transferred through the water from one person to another (causing illness or infection). Organic matter in spa water can cause the water to become opaque or cloudy . Recommended chemicals: Wellis 100% Bio Crystal Disinfectant Pack size: 2×1 liter Chlorine-free disinfectant with an optimized concentration for hot tubs and small spas. It can be used for all spas equipped with a water circulation and filtration system. 100 ml of Wellis Crystal is required for 1 m3 of spa water. The presence of disinfectant in water can be detected using various testers. Aquacheck 5-in-1 tester.
Foaming Bubbles and colloidal contamination accumulate in various sizes of foam clots on the water surface. This foam is mainly formed from particles removed by water from human skin, cosmetics, body lotions, etc. and the mixture of various chemicals. This compromises the maintenance of the aesthetic quality and cleanliness of your spa water. Foaming is a condition in which there are foam clots or a continuous layer of foam present on the water surface 30 seconds after the massage motors have stopped. Recommended chemical: Foam Stop 1000g – Anti-foam liquid for spas. Pack size: 1000g effectively reduces foaming caused by body lotions or other materials. Dosage: Depending on the intensity of foaming, until the foam disappears. After adding, wait until the material is completely dissolved in the spa.
Cleaning the Filter Cartridge Filter cartridges are designed to remove impurities from the spa water. Therefore, keeping them clean is essential. In case of heavily contaminated filter cartridges, the system may not provide the appropriate amount of water flow. In this case, the control unit may disable operation if an error message is displayed on the operating unit. The filter cartridge(s) should be cleaned weekly. It is recommended to soak the filter cartridges in the Filter Cleaner chemical solution for 24 hours. Turn off the spa before removing the filter cartridge(s). If operating without filter cartridge(s), there is a risk of damaging the circulation pump. Unscrew the filter cartridge(s) and use a strong jet of water to remove any impurities deposited between the slats. Never use the spa without a filter cartridge. It is recommended to have an extra filter cartridge on hand Filter cartridges should be replaced every 3 months! Spas currently have three different filter housing designs:
Skimmer housing
Floating filter housing
Wall-mounted filter housing
Replacing the filter in a skimmer:
Remove the filter cartridge by turning it counterclockwise
While still in the water, tilt the filter cartridge slightly to the side to allow air to escape from the cartridge
Screw in the cleaned or new filter cartridge by turning it clockwise
Change the water (except for spas equipped with In-Clear)
Find the drain in the pan and remove the sealing cup.
Screw the metric spacer supplied with the spa into place.
Unscrew the larger receiving part counterclockwise as far as you can.
Next, pull the receiving part towards you – water will start to flow out of the spa.
Once all the water has been drained from the spa, repeat the steps described above in reverse order.
Filling the spa with water: Please note that the spa must always be filled through the filter housing. If this is not the case, air may enter the circulation system. In this case, the spa heater may be damaged. • Replace the filter cartridges with new ones. • If necessary, replace the UV bulb or order a replacement part.
Please note that draining the spa with water should always be done through the drain hose. If this is not done, the circulation system may fill with air. In this case, the pool heater may be damaged.
Locate the drain on the tray and remove the plug
Screw the metric spa spacer into place
Unscrew the larger receiver counterclockwise as far as possible
Then pull the receiver towards you – at this point water will begin to flow out of the spa
Once the water has left the spa, the above processes are then carried out in reverse order
For spring
remove the pool covers
connect the removable joints of the motors and controls
Clean the spa body of any dirt that may have fallen on it during the winter season
fill the pool with fresh water
install the new filters purchased, you do not use the old or dirty filters
turn on the spa
check for proper operation (drops, leaks, motors)
fill with purchased chemicals
Winterizing the spa
the spa must be powered off
remove the filters
remove water from the spa with a submersible pump
remove residual water from the jets using a water vacuum
wipe down the spa
remove the side covers of the spa
disconnect the removable seals from the motors and controls, disconnect the antifreeze plugs and drain the water from the motor pump housing
finally, place the pool covers

There's a 10-year guarantee on the acrylic shell, with full replacement of the spa if osmosis occurs.
And a 3-year guarantee on the spa's electronics and pumps, as well as in the event of a leak in the spa.
Of course, these guarantees only apply in the case of a manufacturing defect and not a problem caused by misuse by the user.
